Sensory Development Testimonials

Sarah and the entire staff at Pace Family has been absolutely amazing to us. Dr. Sarah did a neurosensory eval and ongoing treatment for our son (6 y.o.). After the eval, I literally cried as she was the first professional who I felt completely understood my son and his profile. She identified retained primitive reflexes and came up with a comprehensive plan for integration, complete with dietary plans and adjustments. We have already seen improvements in his reflexes after only 4-5 months. The entire atmosphere of the office is relaxed, friendly, and inclusive. We are so happy and lucky to have found Pace Family Chiropractic!

Six Questions With a Pace Sensory Development Parent: Julie

What brought you into the office, and what was your life like before coming in for care?

I brought my autistic son for the sensort development aspect of chiropractic. I later decided to seek chiropractic care for myself because of ongoing neck pain.

What improvements have you noticed and how has your child's life changed since he has been getting adjusted?

My son is focused and interested in school. He takes the supplements and enjoys his visits. He feels less anxious and constipated. He is proud of his progress.

How has your child's emotional and behavioral health changed?

He is significantly less anxious. He is socially outgoing and cheerful overall. He has a longer attention span at school.

How has your child's academic performance changed?

He sits through class and completes his work. He is excellent at math, and is making significant progress in reading.

What changes have you noticed that you attribute to the dietary changes and supplements that Dr. Sarah has recommended?

Max is consuming less dairy and is less constipated.

Would you recommend Pace Sensory Development Program to family and friends?

Yes, and I already have.

 Preston's Sensory Development Story

It was November when a chiropractor recommended Susan bring her son to Pace Family for the Pace Sensory Development Program, he was reading 1.5 years below grade level. Susan immediately signed her son up for the program, and by February, he was reading just below his class average.

Susan noticed the changes, which manifested themselves in his reading, writing, and ability to focus. She notes that Preston is calmer and more focused, and that he seems to grasp new concepts more easily since starting the sensory program.

Preston spent a good deal of his break from school writing, and Susan wonders whether his increased ability to read and write has brought out a hidden talent. Susan saw such immense changes in Preston that her other son is now a part of the sensory development program!
