Neurofeedback with BrainCore

Pace Family Chiropractic is excited to bring neurofeedback therapy into our office!

What is neurofeedback therapy?

Neurofeedback therapy is a painless, drug-free modality that trains the brain to function at its maximum potential.  Neurofeedback is guided exercise for the brain that is designed to manage dysregulated brainwave patterns. It is considered safe and effective for both children and adults.

What is brainwave dysregulation?

Brainwave Dysregulation is a condition that results from tension on the nervous system caused by subluxation, poor nutrition, stress, food sensitivities, drugs or trauma. Over 40 years of scientific research has demonstrated that, for any given circumstance, there is an accepted normal pattern of brainwave activity. A healthy, balanced, and properly regulated nervous system will produce the appropriate brain waves at the appropriate levels and at the appropriate times for a given situation. Dysregulation means that the nervous system is not producing the appropriate brainwaves at the appropriate times.

What are some signs or symptoms of brainwave dysregulation?

While there are many signs and symptoms of brainwave dysregulation, the most common symptoms are:

  • ADD/ADHD and learning difficulties
  • Anxiety, PTSD
  • Autism spectrum disorders
  • Difficulty sleeping and problems with insomnia or memory loss
  • Fibromyalgia and chronic pain
  • Migraines
  • Poor hand-eye coordination

What sort of conditions can benefit from neurofeedback?

While any of the above conditions can benefit from neurofeedback therapy, please keep in mind that this is not a comprehensive list. Any symptoms or conditions that have a neurological basis may potentially find benefit in neurofeedback therapy. If you have any questions regarding your specific symptom or condition, please contact the office to see if you are a candidate.
